Pedro Pascal Seen Without His Arm Sling at Sundance Premiere Alongside Costar Normani

While wearing a black brace at the Golden Globes earlier this month, the ‘Last of Us’ actor told reporters he “fell.”

Pedro Pascal seems to be on the mend.

After showing up to the 2024 Golden Globes and Emmys earlier this month in a bra, the actor appeared sans accessory at the premiere of his new film on Thursday Strange stories during the opening night of the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.

Pascal, 48, flashed a megawatt smile on the red carpet as he posed in a cream diamond-patterned jacket and trousers of the same style, over a white button-down shirt and black shoes.

He also posed with rapper Symba and Normani, one of his co-stars in the Anne Boden and Ryan Fleck directed/written film Freaky Tales.

The film also stars Jay Ellis, Dominique Thorne, Ben Mendelsohn, Jack Champion and Angus Cloud, and serves as one of Cloud’s last films before his death in July 2023 at the age of 25.

Kristen Stewart, Pedro Pascal, Steven Yeun and more stars will debut new films at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival.

During the Golden Globes on Jan. 7, Pascal wore a black belt with an almost all-black ensemble — but he wasn’t injured by a battle with zombies, intergalactic beings or drugs. He told reporters that he simply “fell”.

Eight days later, while accepting the award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series at the Emmys, the Chilean-born actor told the audience that he wanted to take a moment to “make this about me.”

Pascal then held up his injured shoulder – and jokingly suggested Kieran Culkin was behind it, after the teasing hit Succession the star did the week before.

Culkin, 41, delivered the first humorous punch during his acceptance speech at the Globes, where he jokingly told Pascal to “fuck him” after winning best actor in a drama series. The last of us star.

“I think tonight is the perfect time to tell everyone that Kieran Culkin beat me to death,” Pascal said at the Emmys before the camera cut to Culkin, who was hilariously staring at him without so much as a smile.

But the “feud” was just for the cameras, as the duo later posed together for a selfie Pascal posted on Instagram, which also features Culkin’s brand new Emmy statuette.
