Pedro Pascal and Kieran Culkin are putting their “feud” behind awards season — for now.
The actors posed together in a selfie that Pascal posted on Instagram after the 2023 Emmy Awards, where Culkin scored a big win over The last of us star.
Both Pascal and Culkin were nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, with Culkin leading the field for his portrayal Successionis Roman Roy. Later, when Pascal took the stage to present the second award, he made sure to cheer for his fellow nominee.
Before presenting the award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, the 48-year-old Chilean actor told the crowd that he wanted to take a moment to “make this about me.”
He then brought up his injured shoulder – and jokingly suggested Culkin was behind it. “I think tonight is the perfect time to tell everyone that Kieran Culkin beat me up,” Pascal said as the camera cut to Succession the star, 41, looks back without a hint of a smile.

The playful back-and-forth began at last week’s Golden Globes.
Both Pascal and Culkin again competed for the same award, best actor in a drama series, and when Culkin won, he joked to his fellow nominee, “Smoke him, Pedro. Mine!” The camera then cut to Pascal laughing in the audience.
The The last of us the actor’s denial at the Emmys, then, was about his injured shoulder — he initially told reporters he “fell” but didn’t elaborate — and offered him a chance to get revenge on Culkin, who started the alleged beef.

Pascal’s Instagram post on Tuesday also included a photo of him with co-star Bella Ramsey and several photos with his sister Lux Pascal, who he took as a chaperone to the awards show. “She can turn the day black,” he captioned the post, referring to his sister, who wore a black Oscar de la Renta dress with a high neck and low back.
He also shared a photo with Evan Peters, who was also nominated on Monday night. In the selfie, Peters (36) was talking on the phone and looked dead at the camera, while Pascal made a squinting face and had a slight smile on his lips.
The American Horror Story the star was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie Dahmer – the monster: the story of Jeffrey Dahmer. The Netflix series, which he executive produced, was also nominated for outstanding limited or anthology series.
Niecy Nash-Betts was also nominated for a series, taking home the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series.
