The picture was shared by Crazy Illusions on Twitterand people were scratching their heads.

Calculus often shares challenging brain teasers, but this one confused people the most.

In the picture, one person says there are three, but the other is convinced there are four.

In between, the blocks are placed on the floor – so are they three or two?

One person wrote: “I’ve been looking at this for 30 minutes and I still only see three blocks. Am I doing something wrong?”

Another said: “If you look hard enough, it’s definitely a 3, big optical illusion.”

“There’s 4 of them – if you see 3, there’s something wrong with you,” quipped a third.

However, some people thought they saw both three and four, which further confused them.

“4, saw 3 twice but mostly 4,” wrote one.

Another agreed: “Sometimes I see 4, sometimes 3. Depends on the angle I guess.”

But others online could still see one or the other: “I don’t understand how anyone can see 3 lol.”

The bad news is that there is no right answer to the puzzle, so you’ll have to decide for yourself how many blocks there are.

Why not show your friends how much they can see?
