In the first promotion for his upcoming hosting gig, Saturday night live cast members Chloe Fineman and Bowen Yang return to the studio after season 48 ended early due to the Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike and discuss how they spent the summer.
“It was great,” says Fineman, 35. “I actually got to meet my birth mother.”

Yang, 32, replies: “I watched everything Suits. I don’t know what it’s about.”
Then Davidson, 29, walks in, eating a bag of chips and simply says, “Yikes.”
“My apartment is under construction, so I just live here,” he explains.

Fineman tries to explain the former SNL member states that he cannot squat in Studio 8H. “Only actors or presenters are allowed into the studio,” she says.
So Davidson decides to return as host.
“Okay, I’ll do it,” says the comedian. “I’ll be the host.”

Davidson shows what he calls his “Kenan face” to the camera, referring to SNLlongest-serving cast member, Kenan Thompson.
Davidson had planned to host one of the final episodes of Season 48, but will now step in to start Season 49 as the WGA reached an agreement and ratified their new contract. Ice Spice will be the musical guest on Saturday.

The New York City native is gone SNL 2022 after eight years in sketches.
“I appreciate it SNL he always has my back and lets me work on myself and grow,” Davidson said in his latest episode. “Thanks Lorne [Michaels] for never giving up on me or judging me even when everyone else did and for believing in me and allowing me to have a place to call home with memories that will last a lifetime.”
Davidson SNL the return home follows his stint in rehab this summer, where he received inpatient therapy to address issues related to post-traumatic stress disorder and his previous diagnosis of borderline personality disorder. During his comedy tour with John Mulaney and Jon Stewart, Davidson revealed that he had been using ketamine regularly for four years.
