Philadelphia Eagles logo hides a secret optical illusion as the ONLY NFL badge facing left – can you spot hidden letter?

THERE ARE 32 teams in the NFL, but only ONE has a left-facing logo.

They are the Philadelphia Eagles, and the franchise has a very good reason to be different from all the others.

That’s because defying convention has allowed an NFL team to incorporate a secret optical illusion into its badge.

At first glance, the team logo looks like a normal eagle.

But a closer look reveals it all.

Have you managed to spot it yet?

The feathers on the eagle’s back are actually doubled to form the letter “E,” for eagles.

The three main right-facing feathers protrude to resemble a letter.

And while it’s hard to find at first, it can’t remain invisible once it’s identified.

This is a very clever tactic and one that would not have been possible if the eagle was facing to the right.

The Philadelphia Eagles logo also hides the letter 'E' in the feathers on the bird's head.

Unfortunately for them, their innovative strategy didn’t translate into large amounts of success on the field.

The Nick Foles-inspired Super Bowl LII triumph is the only time they have won the ultimate game in the Super Bowl era.

And while Jalen Hurts led the Eagles to a playoff berth last year, a 31-15 loss to Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers ended their postseason challenge with one game away.
