As for the couple, all eyes have been on the newlyweds since the engagement was first announced. Along with the venue, décor, and celebrity guests, the main topic of conversation was what the bride would wear for her special day. And now, we finally have our first look at Rajwa Al-Saif’s bridal look. Before today’s wedding ceremony, Rajwa Al-Saif celebrated her henna party with a beautiful creation by Honayda in ivory and gold that celebrated her roots and those of Prince Hussein with significant embroidered details, from the seven-pointed stars that have a special meaning for Jordan, right down to palm trees representing Saudi Arabia. For her wedding day, the future queen of Jordan decided on none other than Elie Saab. Her choice was all white. Rajwa was a sight to behold as she walked down the aisle today at Zahran Palace, the very place where the prince’s parents, Queen Rania and King Abdullah, were married years ago.
Seen getting out of her car with her sister-in-law, Princess Iman, hand in hand, Rajwa Al-Saif wore her white wedding dress with an elaborate veil that fell a few meters behind her. The dress itself was figure-hugging and unadorned, but stood out with its graceful asymmetrical neckline. Her long-sleeved gown was accompanied by a detachable train with floral details that added volume and drama to her wedding look. Rajwa Al-Sai’s wedding dress was reported to be made from 6 kg of pearls. A grand event for a grand celebration, Rajwa Al-Saif’s Elie Saab couture gown is made from crepe fabric and took 20 people and a total of three months to make.
The dress was anything but ordinary, containing 550 petals and 6 kg of pearls, crystals and beads. The bride walked down the aisle with the younger brother of her groom, Prince Hashem. As for Prince Hussein, the king looked elegant as ever as he waited for his bride at the altar, dressed in his full military uniform. The couple sat next to each other as their vows were read, then exchanged rings with all their guests cheering them on. Below is one of the cutest pictures of the couple yet.
