Pierce Brosnan and his wife Keely Shaye wish Jane Goodall an early birthday!

“Happy 90th birthday to a true pioneer, legend and hero of the planet, Dr. Jane Goodall,” Brosnan began in the caption.

In May 2023, days before his 70th birthday, Brosnan spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about his debut solo art exhibit.
He considered his collection of paintings, sketches, screen prints and other creations a “retrospective”, adding that it was 36 years in the making.

As for Goodall, he hoped her latest artistic endeavor would bring her joy. “I hope this new journey around the sun fulfills all your wishes,” Brosnan continued in his social media post on Wednesday.
Goodall will celebrate his birthday in two weeks.

“We plan to make this birthday the most memorable yet! We have a lot planned,” the message says, adding that there will be events in Seattle and New York, as well as a birthday video message.
“Global #GoodAllDay party to honor Jane’s spirit of kindness!” it is also planned for her upcoming birthday.

Lauren Sánchez, who is also vice president of the Bezos Earth Fund, called Goodall one of her “environmental heroes.”
“I would like to sincerely thank the Bezos Earth Fund for supporting our conservation work in Africa,” Goodall said in a statement. “The protection of these forests, with their rich biodiversity, is crucial not only for the survival of great apes, but also in efforts to slow climate change.”
Their partnership aims to “preserve the integrity and significant ecological carbon value of the greater Congo Basin rainforest”, as well as “preserve the culture and values of local and indigenous communities”.
