A small plane crashed into a pension community in Pennsylvania, leaving several people injured.
On Sunday, March 9, several local outlets near Lititz in Lancaster County – located about 75 miles west of Philadelphia – reported that a small aircraft crashed into a parking lot in a pension community shortly after 15:20 local time.
According to local 21 news, 6 ABC and Wgal, the collision occurred at the Fairview Drive -a -aadowView Court intersection in the retirement community of Brethren Village.
According to Local 21 News, which quoted the authorities, the N347M – Beechcraft Bonanza aircraft – took off from the Lancaster Regional Airport at 15:15 and descended within five minutes.
The Federal Air Force Administration (FAA) told people in a statement that five people were on the plane at the time of the collision.
“Bonanza Bechcraft collapsed in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, around 3:00 pm in local time on Sunday, March 9th. Five people were on board. The FAA will investigate,” the statement said.
CNN reported that the plane had headed to Springfield in Ohi at the time of the collision.

The video received by TMZ, which allegedly records the immediate consequence of the collision, shows a huge fire that blazes, as more car alarms enter the background.
The flame is seemingly outside the building, and the hose of firefighters can be seen spraying a plane to extinguish the fire.
According to the outlets, more injuries were recorded.

The Pennsylvania Josh Shapiro government announced a statement about social media shortly after the collision, stating that the Pennsylvania State police and local first responsibilities were at the scene.
“Our team on @pastatepolice is on the ground, helping local first answers after a small private plane accident near Lancaster Airport in Manheim,” wrote about X. “All Commonwealth resources are available as the answer continues, and more information will be provided to become available.”

Pennsylvania’s Route 501 is closed in both directions near the collision site, Wgal reported.
The incident indicates the latest in a series of aircraft accidents in the region. January 31, four crew members and two passengers – a pediatric patient and her mother – were on board Learjet 55 when he hit the country in a residential neighborhood in northeast of Filadelfia, leaving no survivors.
