Plane’s Nose Crushed and Streaked with Blood After Hitting a Bird During Takeoff: Photos

The passenger jet that hit the bird during the take -off remained significantly damaged and spoiled in the blood.

According to Director of Latam Jerome Cadier, no one was injured and the flight safely returned to Rio.

The plane photos show the damaged nose – a massive hole, peek into the front – and a smaller recess in which long blood stripes begin.

In a statement, she divided her policy to adopt all possible safety measures and apologized to the travelers who were affected.

“Latam regrets the inconvenience and informs that it offers the necessary assistance to all encouraged customers, which will be re -accoded on the company flights scheduled for today and tomorrow (February 20 and 21),” the statement said.

In a post that is divided into Linkedin, Cadier expressed frustration with an incident – both in the “disorder of the life of all passengers” and the upcoming financial impact on the Avio -Company.

“And so the Brazilian Air Force continues … The question is: Who pays the bill?” Cadier wrote.

The incident follows several high airline accidents in recent weeks, which has varied in nature.

The Delta Airlines flight collided in Toronto on Monday, February 17th and overturned on the runway. All 80 passengers and crews on board have been successfully evacuated. The cause of the incident is currently under investigation the Canadian Traffic Safety Committee.

Two weeks earlier, on the night of January 29, the American Airlines aircraft and a military helicopter collided in the air near the Reagan Airport in Washington, DC killed 67 people in the accident.
