According to the young NHS worker, who received the coveted One4All Fashion Favorites Gift Voucher, she was surprised to learn that JD Sports did not accept it as a form or payment – despite their logo being clearly on the card.

Speaking about the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, Hannah explained in her post: ”The lady in the shop told me they’ve had to turn away a lot of people because of the same problem and the JD logo shouldn’t be on it. ”

After visiting a branch in Sheffield’s Meadowhall Shopping Centre, Hannah decided to see if other stores had the same problem.

Luckily for her and her fellow fashionistas, there was no problem using the card at Primark.

“Be careful when using this One4All Fashion favorites gift card as JD does not accept it despite their logo being on the gift card,” she warned in a post that angered hundreds.

To make sure that you are not disappointed, it is best to check the list of brands where can spend your money on the voucher.

The list can be found here and includes many well-known shopper favourites, including John Lewis, Zalando, TK Maxx, Boohoo and Nasty Gal to name but a few.

According to the company, you don’t have to spend the total value in one go and you can use your card multiple times until the balance reaches £0.

To prevent any awkward moments at the checkout, it is also advised that you know your balance before you spend, as the merchant will not be able to find out your balance.

Hundreds of furious Facebook users flocked to the comments to share their thoughts, as well as tagging their friends and family to let them know the unpleasant news.

One said: ”This can be a real nightmare… This year it was easier for me to get gift cards to their favorite stores.

“I bought 2 x JD vouchers, 1 x Boohoo and 1 x Shein voucher for my older grandchildren.”

Someone else also had the same problem, writing: ”I had it last year. JD rejected the children.

“It’s shocking that it wasn’t taken down, as they knew very well at the time.

“Fortunately, they also had money, so we can still buy their things.”

A mom answered: ”We had this yesterday, my son had 3 of these all 4 of those gift cards and wanted to use them all at JD, only one was accepted.

“The lady said the others will only work online.”

Another added: ”Check the expiry date on them too. My kids got them for Christmas and they expire in February 2024 so not really long.

“It’s also strange that Primark accepts One4all cards but not the Love of Shopping cards.”
