Powlen Jessica committed suicide on September 19, 2022, and her body was discovered by the Chennai police after complaints from her parents and friends. According to police, family and friends filed a missing person complaint after Bowlen Jessica stopped responding to phone calls and text messages. Police reportedly found a suicide note in her diary in which she wrote that she ended her life because of a failed love life and that she did not blame anyone for her death. She wrote in her letter,
I loved someone very deeply. But the love doesn’t end there. Therefore, I will leave this world and no one will be responsible for my death. I will love you for the rest of my life and I will continue to love you even after this. “
