- In an interview, Prasad Oak talked about his dream project, Chandramukhi, which took him eighteen years to realize. He said,
I would always tell my younger self – you should have started coaching earlier. My dream was to direct my debut film with Chandramukhi and it took Vishwas Patil 15 years to give me the rights to remake his novel. He knew me as an actor, but he wasn’t sure about my ability as a director. He was doubtful. He gave me the rights in December 2019 after Hirkani (a film that Oak also directed). Chandramukhihas has been my passion of 18 years and my biggest “dream come true”.
