The policemen confiscated two phones and examined the recordings and videos.
Premier League stars thought it was a prank when their team-mate was arrested on the pitch.
A source said: “Many of the stars initially thought it was a prank when two uniformed police officers entered the pitch during training. Everyone was in disbelief.
“The players were open-mouthed. No one was sure what was going on.”
Ace was later released without further action.
He returned to training yesterday and could play in his club’s FA Cup third round this weekend.
The Sun has learned that officers acted after a woman accused the footballer of secretly filming their sex despite her allegedly asking him not to.
She told friends she felt insulted and humiliated when he sent her packing moments after they’d romped in his bed.
She said she refused to record the sex or take part in the threesome.
Police said: “A man in his 20s was arrested at an address on suspicion of voyeurism.
“It has been determined that no further action will be taken due to a lack of evidence.”
The club declined to comment.
AGONY OF VICTIMS
REALITY TV star Stephen Bear’s voyeuristic court case has highlighted the damage the offense can do to victims.
The 34-year-old made at least £40,000 on OnlyFans by sharing CCTV footage of himself having sex with Georgia Harrison.
Bear was sentenced to 21 months in prison in 2023 after being found guilty of voyeurism and revealing a private sex film.
The judge praised Georgia’s courage and said she had suffered great humiliation and shame.
Last summer, former Spandau ballet singer Ross Davidson, 36, from Aberdeen, was convicted of rape and at a court hearing he was hit by filming the women.
