According to The Times, PGMOL intends to make the audio recording available after the review of the incident is complete.
The decision comes after the Reds officially requested to be given audio from the VAR room at Stockley Park.
Jurgen Klopp’s side were left damaged after Diaz’s shot was wrongly ruled out for offside against Tottenham on Saturday.
VAR Darren England and his assistant Dan Cook mistakenly thought a goal had been awarded and told referee Simon Hooper to stand by his decision on the pitch.
Spurs quickly resumed the game and VAR protocols prevented the error from being corrected.
However, senior referee officials are understood to believe the VAR pair should have intervened immediately.
After the game, PGMOL released a statement putting the error down to “significant human error” and Howard Webb contacted Liverpool to apologise.
The Reds went on to lose the game 2-1 after Joel Matip’s stoppage time own goal and red cards for Curtis Jones and Diogo Jota.

Liverpool are also expected to appeal against Jones’ red card, which was upgraded by VAR for a dangerous tackle on Yves Bissouma.
However, he will not be able to get a replay, as the Premier League does not even consider such requests.
