Prime Minister attends graduation ceremony of Delhi University

Prime Minister Modi attended the DU Farewell Ceremony: This year, the University of Delhi will celebrate its 100th anniversary and as part of the celebrations, the university held a farewell ceremony on the occasion of its 100th anniversary. Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the graduation ceremony held at the university along with Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. On that occasion, the Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone for the construction of 3 buildings of the University.

The cornerstone has been laid for the University of Delhi Computer Center, the Faculty of Technology and Academic Building to be built within the North Campus of the University of Delhi.

As part of the 100th anniversary, during the closing ceremony in the basement of the multi-purpose house, an exhibition about the 100-year journey of the University will be held.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Prime Minister stated that the new education policy allows students to choose their favorite combination of exams. He further emphasized that in 2014, only 14 universities were ranked in the QS world university rankings, now up to 45. He also emphasized his vision of India as a hub. starting a business.

Prime Minister takes the subway to the University

The Prime Minister also took the metro from Lok Kalyan Marg metro station to Vishwa Vidyalaya metro station in Delhi during his university visit. The Prime Minister was seen interacting with students and passengers in the subway.
