A woman asks for shelter for the oldest and most difficult dog to adopt that no one wants

People often go to animal shelters to adopt a puppy. These older dogs are less sought after. Older dogs stay in shelters because they are not wanted.

Older dogs are difficult to adopt or do not feel the warmth of a permanent home. The man’s senior dogs are looking forward to a nice home.

This woman came to the shelter not wanting the friendliest, youngest or cutest dog, but one that needed the most care and love.

She wants the oldest dog. A dog is less likely to be adopted. That dog was a 12-year-old terrier named Jake.

Jake is a true friend and faithful companion to a woman whose husband has recently passed away.
