Merry Christmas from Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis!
Kate Middleton and Prince William released a new Christmas photo of their three children on Monday. The black and white photo taken by photographer Josh Shinner shows George, 10, Charlotte, eight, and Louis, five, sitting together on a bench, with Princess Charlotte in the middle hugging her siblings. Prince George smiles at the camera, while Prince Louis swings his leg and looks off camera.
“We wish everyone a Merry Christmas, from our family to yours!” the prince and princess of wales, both 41, wrote the post on social media. They signed the message “W & C”, which stood for William and Catherine, showing that the message was directly from them and not from a courtier.
The recently released portrait appears to have been taken at the same time as this year’s Christmas photo of Prince William and Princess Kate. Apart from having the same photographer, the royal siblings wear the same clothes, white button-down shirts and the same shoes for Louis and Charlotte.

The family portrait was taken earlier this year in Windsor, and Shinner shared some insights into the photo shoot.
“It was a great pleasure to photograph the Prince and Princess of Wales and their family for this year’s Christmas portrait,” the photographer said on his Instagram. “Without a doubt one of the most relaxed and comfortable sittings I’ve ever had, and now I have a whole new set of jokes that are on my level thanks to the kids…”

Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis’ relationship has recently been on display. At Princess Kate’s Christmas concert at Westminster Abbey on December 8, the siblings teamed up to send letters to children in need, and Louis showed his cheeky side by blowing out his sister’s candle after the event!
The trio also recently helped Princess Kate at the baby bank, with the short film showing them helping sort clothes and toys.
In keeping with Christmas tradition, Prince William, Princess Kate and their children are expected to join other members of the royal family for a holiday service at St Mary Magdalene Church near the royal family’s Sandringham estate in Norfolk. After attending a church service and greeting well-wishers, they will return to Sandringham House to enjoy a traditional feast.
Last year’s Christmas walk was notable as the first during King Charles’ reign, and he had the honor of leading the charge with Queen Camilla. It was sweet for another reason: the debut of Prince Louis’ Christmas walk!
