Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could be STRIPPED of their royal titles under ‘nuclear option’ bombshell new law

PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle could be STRIPED of their royal titles under new “nuclear option” legislation.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex could soon be called just Mr and Mrs if a bill proposed in Parliament this week is passed.

Conservative MP Bob Seely said a decision would be made at the right time – when the pair were encouraged to speak out about Omid Scobie’s discredited book Endgame.

The book claimed that King Charles and Princess Kate had commented on Archie’s skin colour.

Mr Seely said action needed to be taken following attempts to use race to denigrate the company, the Mail on Sunday reported.

Debunking the publication of the name, he said: “Of all the noxious slurs, ‘racism’ is the most insidious, guaranteed to leave an air of stigma and impossible to prove if false.

“It is the universal insult of the modern age.”

Meghan’s friend and “messenger” Scobie refused to apologize for his bombshell book and has since told the world he didn’t name names.

Exasperated by the “bulls**t” apologetics, Scobie blamed the shocking naming on the Dutch translation.

Mr Seely added: “I imagine few people believe such denials.”

It comes months after he previously demanded Harry be stripped of his Duke of Sussex title because he had already “broken up” the royal family.

The Sun revealed today that Scobie has further deepened the rift between Princes William and Harry thanks after it emerged that the Dutch version of his controversial book called the heir to the throne “callous”.

However, the extremely inflammatory term does not appear in the British release of Endgame – neither do the two names.

Harry and Meghan, who left the company in 2020, have remained silent since the shocking claims came to light.

However, a source close to the family urged them to speak out and defend their relatives, reports The Telegraph.

They said: “For a couple who have spoken of a ‘death of a thousand without comment’, the silence at the moment is deafening.”

Lord Andrew Roberts said this morning: “It is absolutely up to Prince Harry to say ‘this is a terrible lie’ and that his father and sister-in-law are not racist. The ball is in his court.”

Endgame – which has been refuted by royal experts – claims that in letters to the king, Meghan named members of the royal family whom she accused of raising concerns about Archie’s skin colour.

In the English version of Endgame, Scobie says that British law does not give him names.

But two paragraphs in the translated version in the Netherlands lack the legal pronunciation, with King Charles and Princess Kate listed as the royals involved.

Scobie blamed the translation, but translator Saskia Peeters came forward to claim that the version she received from Scobie had the names of the royals “in black and white”.
