Princess Kate & William seemed like a normal couple… the conspiracy theories are nonsense, says shopper who filmed them

PRINCESS Kate and William seemed like a normal couple on a casual shopping spree, a shopper who filmed them has revealed.

Father-of-one Nelson Silva, 40, who filmed the couple’s video, called wild internet conspiracy theories “nonsense”.

The footage emerged just hours after The Sun exclusively revealed Kate spent Saturday shopping in Windsor and Sunday morning watching her children play sport.

It comes amid weeks of vicious and violent online behavior where conspiracy theories have been rampant.

Some even refused to believe our cover yesterday, despite Wills and Kate being spotted by members of the public.

Nelson was buying a steak at the Windsor Farm shop when he saw Kate and William in the bread aisle.

When asked about the furious online conspiracies, Nelson told The Sun: “I’m not in that mindset and it was all nonsense.”

He added: “I noticed a couple picking out loaves of bread and the woman turned her face and I felt like I had seen that face before. It was familiar. I knew it from somewhere.

“Then William turned around and I thought ‘wait, I know this person’. I said to the staff ‘I think it’s them’ as I paid.

“I went to my car and as they were leaving the store I just took a picture of them. I think they went out the gate from the yard. They just disappeared and I didn’t see the car.

“I just wanted to share the video with my family and show how normal they are.”

He said the pair had obvious “chemistry” and “were super relaxed”.

“I didn’t feel like they were hiding who they were. But they didn’t really know how people were going to react because it was all about where they were and I felt like they just wanted to be quick.

“Kate looked happy and relaxed. They look happy just to be able to go to the store and hang out. Kate looked relieved like it was an accomplishment to go to the store. It felt natural.”

The Sun last week called on the world to ‘fire Kate’ after she was heavily criticized for editing her family photo for Mother’s Day.

‘SOCIAL NETWORK MADNESS’

We decided to report her appearance in yesterday’s paper and show the footage today, in an attempt to end what Palace called “social media madness”.

Despite looking well and healthy, the princess remains under medical supervision to miss work until next month.

No date has yet been set for his return to public duty following abdominal surgery more than eight weeks ago.

It goes without saying that she will return to work when she is good and ready.

The Sun revealed yesterday that the Princess of Wales was well enough to go shopping at the Windsor Farm store.

Kate’s first post-surgery video is the perfect response to internet trolls, royal experts say

During the busy weekend, the princess also joined William to watch their children George, 10, Charlotte, eight, and Louis, five, play sports together.

The first snap of Kate since Christmas shows the royal mum-of-three carrying a bag full of sweets to the farm on Saturday, just a mile from the Wales’ home in Adelaide Cottage, Windsor.

DRESSED

She was recorded with her mobile phone for a few seconds as she walks side by side with her husband from the store back to the parking lot.

Kate, usually dressed in the latest fashions for official royal occasions, continued to look stylish in her weekend outfit as she wore a black three-quarter hooded top and matching black leggings.

Giving a glimpse of Kate’s usual weekend ‘dressed up’ look, she also wore gray socks pulled over her bottoms and black trainers.

Kate appeared to be in good spirits, smiling and chatting with William as her hair fluttered in the wind.

Wills wore a beige baseball cap paired with a black rain jacket, blue jeans and gray sneakers.

The future king also carried his bag of goods from the Windsor Farm Shop.

And The Sun’s royal photographer Arthur Edwards said the footage “warmed my heart”.

He added: “It’s great to see Catherine so happy. People keep asking me, ‘Where’s Kate? How’s Kate?’

“These pictures are the answer. She is apparently recovering well from the rather serious surgery she had in January.

“The pictures of her smiling really warm my heart and I’m sure millions of others will be glad to see the princess out there.

“There have been so many rumors about her on social media – but now they can be put to rest.”

Princess Kate’s video shows she is recovering well and warms my heart, says The Sun’s royal photographer Arthur Edwards

It’s nice to see Catherine so happy.

People keep asking me, ‘Where’s Kate? How’s Kate?’

These pictures are the answer. She is apparently recovering well from the rather difficult surgery she had in January.

The pictures of her smiling really warm my heart and I’m sure millions of others will be glad to see the princess out there.

There were so many rumors about her on social networks – but now they can be put to rest.

It was nice to see William with Kate. I bet the other visitors to the farm couldn’t believe their eyes when they entered.

But I know the store and it’s close to their house and sells beautiful products.

Kate got really pissed off by some for tailoring her picture for Mother’s Day.

I was really sorry – she was just trying to create a nice image of her family.

So it’s nice to see these beautiful pictures of her smiling brightly and clearly making her way to full health.

Now I’m really looking forward to her return to life as a working royal, when she’s fully ready. She was missed by millions.

Kensington Palace says Kate is “doing well” and will only offer significant updates as she recovers.

She spent 13 nights in hospital after requiring major abdominal surgery at a London clinic on January 17.

The palace said at the time: “The Princess of Wales appreciates the interest this statement will generate. She hopes the public will understand her desire to maintain as much normality as possible for her children; and her desire to keep her personal medical information private.”

In the last two months, the Internet has become a cesspool of baseless gossip.

Conspiracy theories have spread across the internet, too absurd to be repeated in The Sun.

Earlier this month, a palace spokesman condemned the “social media frenzy”.

Kensington Palace has always said it will be out of commission until April and has only given “significant” updates.

It is now believed that Kate could return after her children’s Easter school holidays in mid-April.

SERIOUS OPERATION

It has been a difficult nine weeks since the princess was admitted to the hospital.

William, 41, visited his wife in hospital every day and took time off work to help her settle into her home at Adelaide Cottage.

He continued with the school run in an effort to provide his young family with as normal a life as possible.

Kate spent the February school holidays at Anmer Hall in Norfolk with William and their children.

But speculation was rife after William pulled out of a thanksgiving service for his godfather earlier this month citing a “personal matter”.

A photo taken by a paparazzi photographer showing Kate in the passenger seat of a car with mum Carole behind the wheel was published on an American showbiz website.

Kate apologized 24 hours after she posted a family photo of her three children on Mother’s Day after it emerged she had edited it.

A Photoshop error led to a flood of online abuse directed at the Princess of Wales.

The Sun understood that the princess was under pressure to put on the best image she could, and led the way with the front page headline ‘Fire Kate’.

Sources close to the couple indicated that they were affected by vile lies on social media.

Kensington Palace last night declined to comment.
