A private hospital in central London also treated the king as he underwent treatment for an enlarged prostate.

Kensington Palace said at the time that Kate was unlikely to return to public duties before Easter.

Now the Ministry of Defense has announced that Kate will inspect the dress rehearsal at the Horse Guards Parade for the Trooping of the Color on June 8.

Kensington Palace insiders have not confirmed her presence.

King Charles, 75, is also due to appear in his birthday parade a week later.

But both are expected to be on public engagements before June – with Kate likely to return next month.

A statement in January read: “The Princess of Wales would like to apologize to anyone concerned about her having to postpone her upcoming engagements.

“He’s looking forward to getting back as much as possible, as soon as possible.”

Kate was seen yesterday for the first time since her stay in the hospital.

The Queen was filmed in the passenger seat while mum Carole (69) drove her in an Audi near Windsor Castle.

Gary Goldsmith angered Kate Middleton’s parents by signing up for Celebrity Big Brother and insiders revealed Carole and Michael read him the riot act before he went into hiding

She was wearing sunglasses and appeared to be smiling slightly when seen for the first time since abdominal surgery.

It comes after social media was awash with conspiracy theories about her whereabouts as rumors began to swirl about her health.

Unfounded internet rumors were sparked when Prince William unexpectedly pulled out of a memorial service last week where he was expected to give a reading.

The announcement of Kate’s first appearance follows news that her uncle Gary Goldsmith has slammed Prince Harry for insulting his niece and the royal family.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Gary insisted he could never do anything to upset the “beautiful” Kate, and called the racism claims against her “sh***”.

The royals and the Middleton family are said to have been horrified when The Sun revealed in January that he was in a reboot of the reality show which started last night on ITV1.

Gary said: “I spoke to Carole just to say my love to her and we were talking about Kate in terms of what’s going on.

“A lot is happening in the family at the moment. So she’s spinning a lot of plates right now, it’s pretty stressful. So the last thing I’m going to do is cause them any stress.”
