After completing her studies, Preeti Adani started working as a dentist. In 1996, she was appointed Chairman of the Adani Foundation. After the 2001 Bhuj earthquake, she founded a school in Mundra, Gujarat and named it “Adani DAV School”. Later, the school was renamed Adani Public School. Priti Adani and her husband founded the Adani Vidya Mandir School in June 2009 in Bhadreshwar (near Mundra) and Ahmedabad. The motto of this school is to provide free high school education to poor and needy children.
Priti Adani is also the Chairman of the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) Residential School in Delhi, the largest tribal institution and tribal university in the world.
On May 16, 2016, Priti Adani started managing Adani Skill Development Centers named ‘SAKSHAM’ which aims to enhance the capabilities of the youth of India by providing them world-class skill development training at these centres. In 2018-19, under Priti’s guidance and leadership, the Adani Group’s CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) budget increased from Rs 95 crore to Rs 128 crore.
