Prity Bhattacharjee was born in 2010. She studied in a school in Bardhaman. She was active in extracurricular activities at school, including singing, dancing and acting. She was in fourth grade when she auditioned for “Superstar Singer.”

She began receiving singing training at the age of 6. In 2019, she auditioned for Sony TV’s singing reality show Superstar Singer and sang one of her most iconic songs “Dil Vil Pyaar Vyaar” in the final round of auditions. She competed against five other finalists – Molly, Sneha Shankar, Harshit Nath, Ancona Mukherjee and Nishtha Sharma to win the title. Her mentor on the show is Nitin Kumar.
