Priyanka Chopra Jonas is one of the proud moms.
On Sunday, the actress, 41, took to Instagram to share a photo of her daughter Malta Marie, 2, giggling as she lounged on her back in a ball pit while at a friend’s birthday party. She had her eyes closed and a smile on her face.
“Are you kidding me?! 🥹😍 @maltimarie is such a champion. She surprises me every day [sic]. Fearless and spontaneous. Grateful and curious,” she wrote about her daughter.
The Citadel the star explained that the picture was taken after Malti “climbed this slide by herself and threw herself BELLY, down the slide landing in a ball pit in a fit of laughter and unbridled joy.”

“I think this will be a picture that I will always remember to look at on a day when I’m feeling blue. To remind myself of this moment. Do you have memories like that that you just want to pause in time?” she concluded the post by asking followers to continue sharing joy.
Earlier this month, her dad Nick Jonas shared an Instagram shot of the toddler in another ball pit as part of a gallery of photos and videos from his life lately.

“Oh yes, Malti, good throws,” the singer (31) encouraged his daughter as she threw colorful balls into the air.
The couple welcomed their daughter on January 15, 2022, and later shared that she spent the first 100 days of her life in intensive care.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE in 2023, Chopra Jonas got candid about the terrifying realities that come with parenthood.
“Every day you worry about what you can go wrong and what mistake you can make,” she said. “I’m looking at [my daughter’s] he smiles and I say, ‘Okay, okay. I’m doing well so far.’ It’s the best thing I’ve ever done, but it’s extremely scary.”
