He starred in the film “Jhund” with Amitabh Bachchan. He said in an interview that he was selling coal near a factory when some students from Anjuman College approached him and recorded him dancing and talking. Little did he know they were recording videos in the name of film auditions. After 15 days, Nagraj Manjule, the director of the film “Jhund” approached him. They first found his mother; however, she asked them to leave and they found Priyanshu playing cards with his friends on the railway tracks. His role as Babu Chettri was widely appreciated.

Arrested for stealing mobile phone
In 2021, a gang of thieves was arrested by the Nagpur Railway Police. Priyanshu Kshatriya’s name is included in this list. The police recovered 14 mobile phones from them.
Arrested for stealing jewelery worth Rs 5 lakh
In November 2022, Pradeep Mondave, a resident of Mankapur area of Nagpur, lodged a complaint claiming that jewelery worth Rs 5 lakh was stolen from his home. Nagpur police arrested a minor named Priyanshu. He was subsequently arrested on November 22, 2022, and the court ordered his detention until November 25, 2022. The stolen jewelery was recovered from a pigeon box in Gadigodan area.
