Collaboration between QCI and Gujarat Technological University

Gujarat Technological University: Quality Council of India (QCI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Gujarat Technological University to conduct capacity building training for students, faculty and industry and promote strong quality infrastructure in the area. The Quality Council of India (QCI) is an autonomous body established by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. It has set up a new office in Ahmedabad.

The Training and Capacity Building Cell (TCB) of QCI will manage workshops, training, collaborative research and development activities. GTU is a state university that has 486 colleges across Gujarat in 6 zones: Gandhinagar, Rajkot, Surat, Bhuj, Ahmedabad and Vallabh Vidyanagar.

While inaugurating the Ahmedabad office, QCI Chairman Jaxay Shah said, “Gujarat is known for its development, and with development, our aim with this new office is to ensure quality outreach not only to the people of Gujarat, but also among its neighbours. States. Efforts towards enhancing quality in education have already started with this MOU between TCB cell of QCI and Gujarat Technological University.”

“Having once witnessed the quality of the training program conducted by the TCB Cell of QCI on accreditation at the University, the very interest of GTU in greater cooperation reflects the quality of efforts that QCI is making to promote quality across the country. Additionally, we would like to collaborate with the state government of Gujarat in the future and bring more quality interventions across the state through various QCI initiatives like Gunvatta Sankalp and even collaborate on the Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2024,” he added. . .
