Quad Webb Claims Married to Medicine Producers Never Told Her About Ex-Husband’s Return to the Show

Quad Webb pulls back the curtain on his season 10 experience Married to medicineclaiming she was never told that her ex-husband, Dr. Gregory Lunceford, would be joining the series with his now-wife Lateasha Lunceford as the newest cast member.

The reality star — who was the main topic Married to medicine of his imagination — sat down with famed television producer Carlos King for one of his episodes Reality with the king A YouTube series in which she revealed that she felt hurt by an alleged lack of communication from the producers.

“Nobody ever called me,” claimed Webb, 43, who filed for divorce in 2018 after six years of marriage over allegations of infidelity and abuse, which Lunceford denied. “No texts, no calls, no none of that. They didn’t care how I felt. They didn’t say, ‘Are you even ready for this, Quad? Is this going to be a trigger for you?’ Nothing.”

“Not even a courtesy call,” she also claimed. “Nobody ever said, ‘What do you think of this idea?’ No one ever said, ‘We’re thinking about approaching them.’ No one ever said, ‘We know about the turbulent marriage and how things went, but we still think this will be a good idea for the show, so I just want to warn you that we will probably try to bring your ex-husband and his new love in the series.’ No, not at all.”

Instead, Webb said she learned the information “on social media like everyone else.”

When asked how that made her feel, Webb said “disrespectful.”

“I was confused. I was confused,” Webb recalled. “I felt like, ‘Why? Why would you be so cruel to me? Why didn’t you even lend me a courtesy, just a phone call.’ I like to think about the years… [we] became my family. You can’t be with a group of people for 10 years and not have some kind of emotional connection with them. And I just felt like, ‘Did I mean anything to you all? something? You couldn’t call me? You couldn’t fly into town and sit down with me and talk to me? Have you taken off your producer hat for a second and just put on your humanity cap?’ I have not been shown such kindness.”

PEOPLE reached out to Purveyors of Pop, Married to medicineproduction company, as well as Bravo for comment.

This isn’t the first time the network has come under accusations of blindsiding its cast members, and Teresa Giudice has long claimed she was never told that her brother and sister-in-law, Joe Gorga and Melissa Gorga, would be joining her The Real Housewives of New Jersey back in season 3.

Married to medicine Star Lateasha Lunceford on her wedding to Dr. Gregory: ‘I never imagined the day would finally come’

Lateasha was introduced as a new cast member this season Married to medicine. The cameras even caught her wedding to Dr. Gregory.

Reflecting on that, Webb told King, 44, that she felt Lateasha’s acting was done in an attempt to “evoke emotion” from her.

“I think the goal behind it was to see if he could get my panties in a bunch and piss me off, and that would be a thing for the show,” Webb said. “‘How will Quad respond? Will she be jealous? Will she be angry? Will it be some kind of debacle?’

But, as the viewers saw, that didn’t happen. “I have no animosity towards [Lateasha],” Webb said, noting that it’s normal for someone like her ex to remarry one day. “It wasn’t like she was cheating on him; this girl came many, many years later. It would be ridiculous if I had anything against her about him.”

Even though Webb didn’t react, she still found herself at the center of this season’s drama.

Excommunicated from the group, she tried to mend her relationships with her colleagues and start anew. But on Sunday’s episode, actresses Dr. Jackie Walters, Dr. Simone Whitmore, Toya Bush-Harris, Dr. Heavenly Kimes and Phaedra Parks came together and told Webb they no longer had an “emotional connection” to her, asking her to leave trip in the process.

“I feel like my head is in a blender right now. What just happened?” she told the audience in the episode, fighting back tears. “Like, damn, we fly by so fast. You don’t remember me? … When the curtains part, you’re going to see how they’re really going to treat you. That’s the part that’s really devastating to me.”

Reacting later to the news, Dr. Gregory cheered, “Hell yes. Hell yes.”

Webb will return to Married to medicine later in the season, according to the mid-season trailer, but appears to be missing for part of the rest of the season.

It is unclear where Webb’s relationship with women stands today. She appeared in high spirits with the cast at BravoCon 2023 in November, with Kimes in the joint Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen appearance earlier this month. But speaking of it on Reality with the kingWebb seemed to imply that things were still broken as she tried to clear up the misconceptions leveled at her on the show.

“It’s hard,” she said, later adding that she felt occupied in Sunday’s episode. “[It was] compete in an ambush. … They close me at every step. It’s like, if I wasn’t saying what they wanted me to say, then they didn’t want to hear it. It was very discouraging. It was almost like everyone knew what was going to happen, everyone was in on it, except me.’

Because of this, Webb’s future in the series is very unclear. As she confirmed to King, she missed five weeks of filming at the beginning of this season while negotiating a contract. And while none of those weeks were seen without her on the show, she still feels that “other concessions” could have been made for her this season.

“For me, it’s about, ‘Where is the respect for me?’ ” Quad said. “Haven’t I lived up to my contribution to the show? Did I not bring any value or worth to the show? Didn’t I stand up for the show? Why am I just [told to] take what we give you… and laugh, wear and smile behind it?”
