Queen Charlotte star Corey Mylcherest shared exciting career news with his Instagram followers and it’s safe to say he couldn’t be happier.
Actor who became famous as the male lead King George in Bridgerton prequel series, it was revealed that he has signed with the talent management agency, WME.

On Instagram, the 25-year-old shared a photo of an article from Deadline, the article reported. In the description, he wrote: “Happier. Thank you team!!”
Corey’s followers were quick to congratulate the star, with one commenting: “Deserved! Congratulations Corey!” while another added: “You deserve it! Looking forward to seeing you on many other projects soon! Congratulations Corey!”

Based on Duration, WME won the contract in a competitive battle with several other dealers.
Corey Mylcherest plays King George in the series
The agency boasts an impressive list of past and present clients, including Ben Affleck, Christian Bale, Jessica Alba and most recently Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.
Corey, who is from London, graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in 2020 before landing a small role in the Netflix fantasy series, Sand sellersin 2022.

Corey quickly became a recognizable face around the world thanks to her breakthrough role in Queen Charlotteattracted 511.92 million hours of watch time in the first 28 days.
Talking about the weight of the successful historical drama, which is his first leading role, he told WWD: “There was a lot of anxiety when starting out in the industry and having something really big. as big as your first job and what it would be—and, you know how it changed your personal life.

What is Queen Charlotte talking about?
For those new to the popular six-part series, India Amarteifio plays Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, a 17-year-old princess who must leave her aristocratic home in Germany to come to England to marry King George III – albeit love her or not.

India and Corey stars alongside Arsema Thomas as young Agatha Danbury and Michelle Fairley as Princess Augusta. The stars of the original series, Golda Rosheuvel, Ruth Gemmell and Adjoa Andoh also appear in the flash sequences as their characters, Charlotte, Violet Bridgerton and Lady Danbury.
