Rachin Ravindra is a New Zealand cricketer and batting all-rounder for the New Zealand national cricket team. He came into the limelight after scoring his maiden ODI century in the opening match of the 2023 Cricket World Cup at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

At domestic level, Lachin usually represents Wellington at No.1. In June 2018, he signed a Tom Ford Cup contract with Wellington Club for the 2018-19 season. He made his T20 debut for Wellington on 27 January 2019 in Dunedin against Otago. On 25 November 2019, Lacchin scored his first A-grade hundred in a 2019-20 Ford Cup A-grade match between Wellington and Auckland. In March 2020, Ravindra scored his first hundred in first-class cricket in a match of the 2019-20 Plunket Shield. In June 2022, Durham County Cricket Club signed him to play in the English County Championship. In Durham’s first match against Worcestershire, Ravindra scored 217 runs, his first double century in a first-class game. In June 2020, Wellington awarded him a contract for the 2020-21 domestic cricket season. He also played for Wellington Under-17s, Wellington Under-19s and Wellington Firebirds.

Before joining the New Zealand national cricket team, Rachin Ravindra played for the New Zealand Under-19 team. In the World Cup opener, Rashid Ravindra scored his maiden hundred against England at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He scored 123 runs (not out) off 96 balls, including 5 sixes and 11 fours, becoming the fourth New Zealand player to score a hundred on his ODI World Cup debut. In this game, he partnered with Devin Conway, scoring 273 points with a total of 211 balls, setting the fourth-highest partnership record in World Cup history.

- In 2023, he became the youngest New Zealand player to score 100 goals at the ODI World Cup. Lachin played for New Zealand against England in the 2023 Cricket World Cup opener, scoring 96 balls and scoring 123 runs.
- In the 2023 ICC World Cup, Lachin smashed 116 off 89 balls against Australia, becoming only the second under-26 batsman in international cricket to score two centuries in the World Cup hand; Sachin Tendulkar achieved this feat at the age of 22 years and 313 days.
