Over the weekend, Herzog suffered a sudden attack of supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), a condition characterized by a rapid heartbeat. He was immediately taken by ambulance to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where he received treatment to reverse the heartbeat.
Herzog took to Facebook to inform his followers, stating that the episode was related to a hereditary condition and admitting that it was not completely unexpected for him. However, he pointed out that it was still an unpleasant experience.
