Raghu Ram is an Indian television producer and actor. He is best known for being a judge on the reality television show MTV Roadies.

Raghu was born on Tuesday, April 15, 1975 in Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh (age 44 in 2019). He has a twin brother Rajiv Lakshman. His zodiac sign is Aries. He studied at JD Tytler Kindergarten till 1st grade, Chinmaya Vidyalaya from 2nd to 8th grade and Delhi Tamil Education Society till 12th grade. Raghu belongs to a Hindu Brahmin family. His father Viswanath Ambadapudi is a chartered accountant and his mother Radha Viswanath is a well-known journalist and author. He has a twin brother, Rajiv Lakshman, who is an actor and television host. Raghu has a younger sister, Supriya Nistala.
In 2006, Raghu Ram married his girlfriend Sugandha Garg. She acted in the Bollywood film Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na (2008). After ten years of marriage, they decided to go their separate ways and separated in 2016. In 2018, they divorced.
In 2018, he married his girlfriend Natalie DiLucio. She is from Canada and is a singer by profession.
Raghu and Natalie gave birth to a baby boy on January 6, 2020, whom they named Rhythm.
Profession
After graduation, he joined TV18 Group as an intern. He has also worked on BBC One travel shows. He later joined MTV India to oversee the talk show “MTV Love Line” along with hosts Malaika Arora Khan and Cyrus Broacha.
He suggested starting “MTV Roadies” as an experimental project. Its second season was a hit and became one of the longest-running reality TV shows on Indian television. He was subsequently appointed as Senior Producer at MTV India and Executive Producer at Roadies. In 2010, he starred in the films: Tees Maar Khan (2010) and Jhootha Hi Sahi (2010).
He lent his voice to the Roadies song “Manmaani”, which was nominated for the “Best Singer” award at the 2012 GIMA Awards.
In 2014, he announced that he would no longer be working with Roadies for the X2 season. He launched the webcam fiction show “AISHA My Virtual Girlfriend (2016)” which aired on the online web content platform “Arre”.
In 2017, he launched his reality TV show “Dropout Pvt Ltd” on MTV India. He also appeared in the television comedy show Comedy Nights Bachao (2015-2017) on Colors TV.
In 2019, Raghu and his brother Rajiv launched the Amazon Prime Video reality show “Skulls & Roses.”

- In 2011, some activists of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) in Pune blackened the faces of Raghu, Rajiv Laxman and Rannvijay Singh for using abusive language in the TV show MTV Roadies.
- In 2014, he was again attacked by some ABVP activists in Varanasi for allegedly supporting the ‘Aam Aadmi Party’.
- In 2017, ‘AIB Knockout’ – a celebrity baking adaptation produced by creative agency All India Bakchod – organized a controversial show in which Raghu also participated.
