Rahul Ramakrishna is an Indian actor, comedian, journalist and author. He mainly works in the Telugu industry and rose to fame for his role as Shiva in the Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy (2017).

I was later introduced to the Forum Theater and it was at one of these workshops that I started to get into acting. “

as an actor
After Rahul Ramakrishna quit engineering, he stumbled across an acting opportunity while working other jobs. He recalled in an interview,
I worked for several newspapers and joined an NGO where I worked with Dalits, Adivasis and marginalized farmers. I was later introduced to the Forum Theater and it was at one of these workshops that I started to get into acting. “
He started his career as an actor with a short film titled “Sainma”, directed by Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam. Rahul made his Tollywood debut in 2016 with Jayammu Nischayammu Raa. In 2017, he played the role of Vijay’s best friend Shiva in the film Arjun Reddy. This role increased his popularity as an actor.
He has appeared in several popular Telugu films such as “Bharat Ane Nenu”, “Sammohanam” and “Chi La Sow”. His 2021 projects include Skylab, Net and Telugu blockbuster RRR.

Rahul started writing reviews for websites soon after graduating from college. He is also a dialogue writer and lyricist. He wrote dialogues for the Telugu film Jayammu Nischayammu Raa, which was also his Telugu debut. He composed the song “Merise Merise” with Sainma. Rahul revealed in an interview,
I started writing dialogue and lyrics to supplement my income. I wrote three songs for Pelli Choopulu. I was introduced to Sandeep Vanga outside his apartment when he was chatting with Vijay and that’s how it all happened. “
