Rajat Sood was born on Sunday, November 10, 1996 in Delhi (age 25; as of 2021). His zodiac sign is Scorpio.
He attended primary school at Sri Guru Nanak Public School in Delhi from 2002 to 2006. Thereafter, he continued his higher secondary education at Titiksha Public School, Delhi (2006 to 2015). He excelled in academics and sports during his school days. While studying at Titiksha Public School, Rajat became the captain of the school cricket team and the Kho Kho team. He received scholar badges at 5 academic conferences. At the same time, he also led the NCC batch to the national camp with the 6th Battalion, Delhi. After completing his studies, Rajat studied for Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) at Delhi Engineering College (2015-2019). While studying at Delhi Engineering College, Rajat was a member of Madhurima, the music society of DTU, and Sahitya, the literary and debating society of DTU. Soon, he began writing his own poetry and began performing in various stage shows.

Rajat Sood started his career with Clock Work Events, New Delhi in March 2016 as Event Director. As part of his work with Clock Work Events, Rajat participated in indoor and outdoor auditions for India’s reality TV talent show, India’s Got. The Talent: Season Seven. During the auditions, he was responsible for the logistics and reception of approximately 6,000 participants. In January 2018, Rajat joined Engifest DTU, New Delhi as Head of Hotel Department. There, he leads a team of about 150 people and oversees the hospitality requirements of celebrities such as Amit Trivedi, Nucleya, Piyush Mishra and Dr. Kumar Vishwas.
In February 2018, Sood performed a concert for Punjabi singer Guri in Delhi as part of the group Engifest.
In the same year, he served as the Chief Event Coordinator at the 2018 Delhi Paralympic Games organized by the Sports Authority of India. Later, he performed a concert for Punjabi singer Mankirt Aulakh. The concert was held in Delhi.
He has since hosted two live talk shows for The Viral Fever, one with the cast of TVF’s Kota Factory and the other with TVF’s College Romance star Keshav Sadhna.
In January 2019, he hosted the stand-up comedy show Khayaalbaaz (a one-man show combining poetry and comedy) and performed at various university festivals in India such as Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), BITS Pilani, DTU, AIIMS Rishikesh, NIT Delhi , Punjabi University Patiala, PEC Chandigarh, Delhi Army Medical College, Indraprastha University (Maharaja Agarsen Institute of Technology, North Indian Institute of Engineering, Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology) and Delhi University (Shayama Prasad Mukherjee Institute, Zakir Hussain college). The play is popular with audiences for its uniqueness, and Sood has been performed on about 50 stages in about 10 cities.
In 2021, he participated in Sau Karod Ka Kavi, India’s first poetry reality show. The show is aired on DD Kisaan and DD National channels. Rajat emerged as one of the finalists of the show.
He has also worked at Full Power Entertainment as a lyricist, rapper and creative director on projects such as “Song of the 21st Century” and “The Pehla Nasha Parody”.
As a presenter and entertainer, Rajat has hosted over 100 events in various fields of public speaking including cultural, technical, motivational, social awareness, corporate and private performances.
In November 2021, Rajat started working as Creative Director at Stars N Stripes Media Pvt Ltd. While working there, Sood envisioned providing Network Generated Content (NGC) and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi for various shows aired by Viacom18 on Colors and MTV channels such as Bigg Boss, Comedy Nights with Kapil. Rajat has a YouTube channel named Rajat Sood where he uploads his comedy and poetry videos. The channel was created on March 13, 2019 and has approximately 12,900 subscribers (as of 2022). In 2022, Rajat participated in Sony TV’s reality show “Laughter Champions of India”. The show is also aired on OTT platform: SonyLiv.
