Rajesh Das convicted of sexually harassing an IPS officer
Rajesh Das was convicted and sentenced to 3 years imprisonment in a sexual harassment case filed by a junior officer in February 2021 and was also fined ₹10,000.
Rajesh Das is a former Special Director General of the State Police Force. A court in Villupuram city in Tamil Nadu also fined ₹500 on police officers who tried to prevent the filing of the suit.
A female police officer accused him of misconduct while both were on duty in the central districts of the state.
