To explain my point, on October 12, 2020, he (Mohit Saraf) issued a notice to me and asked me to retire from the company. Of course, he has no such power. Immediately after writing the letter, he sent out a company-wide email telling everyone that I had retired from the company. That night, he also claimed that he would distribute the equity I held to others. This left me with no choice but to fire him in order to save the company and the fate of my clients who would suffer from the dissolution of the company. “

Later, Mohit Saraf filed a case in the Delhi High Court against his dismissal. In 2021, a high court bench of justices RS Endlaw and Sanjeev Narula ruled in favor of Saraf and asked Luthra to pay Rs. 520 million in addition to Rs. 25 Crores as Bank Guarantee. In July 2022, the firm suffered another setback when its litigation arm quit and joined DSK Legal. As of 2023, the law firm has over 350 employees and has branches in Mumbai and Bengaluru.
