Raju Punjabi (1982-2023) was an Indian singer who sang mainly popular and Haryanvi folk songs. He has sung many popular Haryanvi songs like “Desi Desi Na Bolya Kar”, “Solid Body”, “Sandal” and “Aacha Lage Se”. He died of jaundice on August 22, 2023.

Raju Punjabi sang Punjabi songs at the beginning of his career. However, he later started singing Haryanvi songs and gained huge popularity. In an interview, he revealed that the first song he played on DJ was “Yaar Dobara Nhi Milne” which was released in 2013.
He is popular for the Haryanvi song “Solid Body” with Sapna Chaudhary. He has collaborated with Sapna Chaudhary on several other Haryanvi songs including “Sweety” (2016), “Laad Piya Ke” (2017), “Tu cheez Lajawab” (2018), “Teri Hawa Kasuti Se” (2020 2020) and “Jalebi” (2020).

In September 2022, he released the Haryanvi song “Golu Molu”, in which he featured his younger daughter Mahavira.

In 2023, he sang a song for the Haryanvi web series “Chaudhar”. His last song “Aapse Milke Humko Acha Laga” was released on August 12, 2023. This is a Punjabi song.

Apart from popular songs and folk songs, he also sang various devotional songs dedicated to Lord Shiva such as “Mahadev Moh Liya”, “Bhole Teri Nagari Meh”, “Bam Bam Bol” and “Bhole Baba”. In 2019, he appeared as a guest on the Punjabi talk show “KhoruPanti News With Lakha” aired on Balle Balle TV channel.

Raju Punjabi passed away on August 22, 2023 due to jaundice at a private hospital in Hisar. He was hospitalized for 10 days. He was reportedly discharged from the hospital after his health improved during treatment. But his health later deteriorated and he was hospitalized again. His last rites were performed in his hometown Hanumangarh Rawatsar in Rajasthan.
