Rascal Flatts is back!
On Tuesday, Oct. 1, the country trio — made up of lead singer Gary LeVox, lead guitarist Joe Don Rooney and bassist Jay DeMarcus — embarks on a national 25th anniversary tour after a hiatus.
“In 2020, we announced a farewell tour after 20 years of intense travel. Simply put, we needed a break. Then COVID hit and our plans were shut down, as was the rest of the world. Since then, we’ve been able to relive our unique and special experience as a band and are ready to hit the road again,” Rascal Flatts said in a press release.

They added: “It’s hard to believe that next year will be the 25th anniversary of Rascal Flatts, and it seemed like the perfect time to get back in front of the fans who have given us so much.”
The band shared a similar message in an Instagram post, alongside a tour poster.
“Hard to believe that 2025 will be the 25th anniversary of Rascal Flatts… and it seemed like the perfect time to come back in front of all of YOU who have given us so much! Rascal Flatts will kick off the tour on February 13, 2025 in Evansville, Ind. in Grand Rapids, Mich.; Columbus, Ohio; Allentown, Pennsylvania; and Orlando, Florida before packing in Jacksonville, Florida on April 5, 2025.

Gary LeVox honest about the end of Rascal Flatts: ‘I hate that there was no closure’
As of 2020, Rascal Flatts is on hiatus.
They were supposed to mark their 20th anniversary with a farewell tour, but that didn’t happen because of the ongoing pandemic.
Last year, DeMarcus, 53, talked about whether the band would reunite on an episode of Savannah Chrisley’s podcast Unlocked with Savannah.
“I would like to say never say never. [But] we’re in such different places right now and we’re not really communicating on a consistent basis,” he said. “There are so many steps that would have to be taken before we can even get back to talking about it. It’s not too late, it’s just… I think the further we get away from it, the harder it is to put it back together.”
