Zee Business Editor Samir Ahluwalia has taken legal action and filed a criminal defamation case against Jindal Steel & Power Ltd (JSPL), Ratan Jindal, Naveen Jindal and 13 others. The case is related to the Coalgate scam involving Naveen Jindal and JSPL. The defamation charges are based on harmful statements against Sudhir Chaudhary in the First Information Report and false statements made by Naveen Jindal at a press conference on October 25, 2012.
