- Ravi Bell was fascinated by American martial artist Bruce Lee as a child. His fascination with karate led him to learn karate from a boy named Suresh, who holds a black belt in karate. In an interview, Ravi recounted a memory of when he saved money to buy nunchakus from a boy who lived in his building.
- Bale shared an interesting story in an interview about how his passion for karate and nunchucks led to his big break in Hindi films with the film Morchha (1980). Veteran cinematographer Ravikant Nagaich noticed Ravi’s skills when he visited the Bell family home to meet his father. He saw Ravi practicing karate and performing acrobatics with nunchucks. One day, Nagachi asked Ravi’s mother, Savita, if she would consider casting Ravi in a film because he had observed Ravi practicing his nunchucks in front of the mirror.
- Ravi Bell showed a keen interest in dance from an early age. He participated in many dance competitions and achieved prominence.
