Reality star James Moore ‘repeatedly raped teen, spied on her using CCTV & controlled her while taking cocaine’

A FORMER star of Ex on the Beach repeatedly raped a teenage girl, spied on her using CCTV and controlled her while she was high on cocaine, a court heard.

James Moore also allegedly grabbed the girl by the shoulders – causing a head injury – and prevented her from applying make-up.

The 32-year-old cocaine user repeatedly raped the alleged victim, jurors were told.

Preston Crown Court heard Moore installed cameras to “keep an eye” on the girl – with videos showing the pair rowing, Mail Online reports.

In one filmed by the teenager, she could be heard screaming and crying in the background as the star cursed and shouted at her, it was said.

Another allegedly showed Moore clutching the girl’s arm as he “tried to get her out of the house.”

The TV star could also be seen holding a hammer over his car, which he claimed was to “get an answer out of her”, jurors heard.

Testifying, Moore stated: “It was a difficult time for me.

“I didn’t want her there. I didn’t want to talk to her.

“It’s not nice to hear me say that, but it wasn’t a nice situation.”

Moore told the court that he had struggled with cocaine addiction, but he no longer touches alcohol or drugs after going to rehab.

He also claimed he could not “trust” the teenager and believed he had suffered emotional and mental abuse – making him feel like a “prisoner”.

The girl claimed that Moore injured her head during the attack and that the “controlling” star isolated her from her family.

Moore also allegedly “gratuitously” punched her in the face – breaking her nose.

When questioned by police in August 2022, he said: “I’m sorry, this is funny to me, but no, no, no.”

Asked why he made the comment, Moore told the court he felt “appalled” and “couldn’t believe” he was in that position.

Prosecutor John Dickinson also asked if he felt “shame and disgust” watching the videos.

Moore responded, “I felt like I wasn’t able to handle things to the best of my ability.”

The star appeared in the fourth series of MTV’s Ex On The Beach in 2016.

Former carpenter Moore appeared in all eight episodes of the series, which was filmed in Portugal.

He denies all the accusations against him.

The trial continues.
