  1. Disable the Microsoft UAA bus driver
  • Go to Device Manager and expand System Devices.
  • Search for the Microsoft UAA bus driver for HD audio.
  • Right click on it and click ‘Disable’ from the drop down menu.
  • Go to ‘Windows Settings’ and then click on ‘Apps and features’.
  • Click ‘Realtek High Definition Audio Driver’ and then click ‘Uninstall Driver’.

  • Then go to Device Manager and right click on the disabled driver.
  • In the dropdown menu, click ‘Uninstall’.

    • Click ‘Next’ and select the radio button that says ‘Automatically search for and install hardware’.
    • Click Next, and then reinstall the driver.
