We have to skip to the third installment of the series for now, where the new Young Justice heroes and allies are swapped (just like the previous one). But when Tara Markov (known to comic fans as Earth) disappeared, her brother Brion brought his superhuman friends to the doorstep of the Dark Alliance. Considering the roles Ra’s al Ghul has played in the past, being the first choice is a good one. But when the heroes go to the Isle of Infinity in search of answers, they find only Ra’s evil subordinate, Sensei. Standing beside him are the familiar Union enforcer Ubud… and another mysterious ninja.

The first encounter of the hero-villain trilogy ends before it even begins, which means that some viewers may not even notice the third ninja ( Young Justice Put this red hooded katana guy in the back, because they know exactly when and where to show their power). As Nightwing, Superboy, and Black Lightning arrive with more spares, the real battle begins. The reveal still relies on some comic book lore for a grasp, after Ra’s al Ghul arrives to end the battle, explaining that he can’t help them find the missing Markov. Apparently having left the evil secret society known as the Light, Ra’s is working on his own plan and allowing the heroes to leave. As he did, the masked and hooded warrior finally spoke up, just saying “Gray… son.” Nightwing’s name isn’t impossible for him, but Ra’s response is decisive: “Ah, your memory is restored… that’s good.”
If you want to see how a trained assassin gets to Ra’s al Ghul’s side, wearing a red hood and slowly recalling his memories of the Batman family, this is like you’ll understand. Okay.
The story of Red Hood has just begun
Since the story of Jason Todd’s revival as the Red Hood villain has been changed multiple times, fans can forgive missing out on the connection. Especially when Jason Todd comes back for the first time batman: boo It is revealed to be an illusion… which later becomes reality, but changes the amount of memories Jason retains (and how much he ages before returning). So without oversimplifying the episode’s hints, Ra’s is clearly alluding to Jason’s resurrection via the Lazarus Pit – the same magical bath that Ra’s uses to keep him immortal. In the comics, this is exactly how Jason came back to life after being murdered by the Joker… but like all souls restored by Abyss’s magic, he was twisted in the process. His body came back to life, but its owner was a wild, possessed creature. Jason eventually began to rebuild himself under the training of Ra’s and Talia al Ghul.
However, his memory has been disturbed along with the truth, all part of a larger plan to make him a weapon against Batman. The two eventually fight (there are many encounters between Jason and Nightwing, who replaces Robin), but Jason eventually remembers his life, he was adopted by Bruce Wayne, and eventually turned Red Hood back into the world. become the hero of the Batman family.
