Reena Chopra is an Indian artist best known for being the mother of the famous Indian actress Parineeti Chopra.

Reena Malhotra Chopra was born on Wednesday, December 30, 1964, in Singapore (age 58 years; as of 2022). She was raised by her parents in Nairobi, Kenya. Her zodiac sign is Capricorn. Rena goes to school in Nairobi. She later moved to India from Kenya to pursue an apprenticeship in architecture and a second degree in interior design and information technology and management; however, she dropped out of college due to her marriage. Influenced by art from an early age, Reeena was often admired for her artwork at school. Reyna talked about this in an interview and said:
I think, I have always had good drawing skills as I remember being appreciated for my diagrams and projects in school and college and thereafter even while helping my children with their diagrams and projects. However, I have never done any formal painting, I just dabbled in it. This has always been an instinctive and fun activity for me. I didn’t actually wake up one morning and say, ‘Eureka! I’m an artist.

On November 23, 1986, Reena Chopra married businessman Pawan Chopra, a supplier to the Indian Army at Ambala Cantonment. Reena met Pawan at a concert while she was pursuing her formal education in India. Reena Chopra talked about her marriage in an interview and said that because she grew up in an NRI family in Nairobi, Kenya, she suffered a culture shock after marrying into an Indian family. she says,
I moved to India to pursue a degree in Architecture Apprenticeship and Interior Design, and a second degree in Information Technology and Management, and eventually I got married in India, also in a small town called Ambala. 35 years ago it was almost non-existent in every respect, a typical outback town with a stereotypical thought process, a land forgotten by the world except for its military history. It was a major culture shock for me at the time. These years, from Kenya with a particularly open mind and upbringing, to the following years of walking on eggshells and overcoming various obstacles and regressive traditional ideologies are basically the inspiration behind a lot of my art… You You can see the stories of most girls from that time, and even now, appear in my paintings. “

In 2016, Reena Chopra started her career as a professional artist. Reena said in an interview that her daughter Parineeti Chopra and sons Sahaj Chopra and Shivang Chopra influenced her to pursue Artist’s career. she says,
My tryst with art began five years ago when my daughter decided enough was enough… I had to do something for myself, something constructive, personal, as I got rid of most of the things that were holding me back from pursuing a career or hobby Family Obligations. The parents are gone, the children have grown up and become independent, and a system has been established at home. She agreed with my kids and they decided to buy every piece of art they could think of and give it to me as a birthday gift. It was a very pleasant shock to me when I was told “Now stop making excuses and get down to business”!
Reena has held art exhibitions in Kenya, China, Paris, New Delhi, Chandigarh and other places. Sonam Kapoor, Nimrat Kaur and Sukhbir Singh are some of her celebrity clients.
