Reeth Rishya is an Indian table tennis player who has won multiple medals in various national and international competitions. She is considered a motivated player and has trained at different academies in Chennai, Mumbai and Hyderabad. She is the first Indian woman player to win a gold medal in the singles category at the Professional Table Tennis Championships.

Reeth Rishya Tennison was born on Thursday, April 27, 1995, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu (age 27; as of 2022). Her zodiac sign is Taurus. She studied at Kaligi Ranganathan Montford MHSS, Perambur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu till class 10, and later at St. Joseph’s Anglo-Indian High School, Perambur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She became interested in table tennis because her father was also a table tennis player. She was trained by coaches VM Ravi Venkatesh, V. Vasu, Ramesh Babu and Bharath at Maharishi Vidya Mandir Club. She did her graduation from MOP Vaishnav College for Women, Chennai.

She married Sunil Shetty, an Indian table tennis player from Mumbai, Maharashtra, on December 23, 2018. They have known each other since the early 2010s as both competed in various competitions and have been friends for a long time. Sanil proposed to her during a training camp and after a brief relationship, they got married in Mumbai. As of 2022, the couple does not have any children.

Reese began participating in district-level competitions in 2008 and participated in the 2009 Taiyuan International Youth Open. In 2010, she won several national ranking championships. In 2011, she participated in the US Open, 2011 French Junior Open, 2011 Spanish Junior Open, and represented India in the 2011 World Junior Table Tennis Championships. In Bahrain.
