Renaye has been interested in baking since she was a child. She watched her mother try new recipes and learned the basics of baking from her. In an interview, talking about how she learned to bake and try out recipes, Renaye said:
I used to watch my mom bake and would end up helping her too. I was inspired by her and then I also realized that I really loved baking. ”
Initially, Renaye used to bake for her friends, family and neighbors. Seeing the response to her baked goods, her mother encouraged Renaye to pursue her hobby of baking professionally. In 2016, at the age of 12, Renaye started a family bakery with the support of her parents. In 2016, Renaye and her sister Rheanne founded a baking brand called Renaye’s Bake Sale, which includes a range of delicacies such as cakes, muffins, brownies and cookies.

In an interview, talking about her love for baking, she said:
I like baking. But when I started sharing my creations, I felt even more fulfilled. I also take professional orders and use the money to bake cakes for underprivileged children. I love seeing their joy when they take that first bite of cake. ”
