Renée Zellweger cheered on boyfriend Ant Anstead at his recent football game!

On Sunday, Zellweger, 54, was spotted with her two dogs as she cheered on Anstead, 44, during his game in Orange County, California. The Oscar winner was spotted smiling as Anstead looked over her shoulder as she ran down the court.

The Thing About Pam the actress dressed up for a casual Sunday night out, opting for jeans, a black zip-up hoodie and her favorite orange Texas Longhorns baseball cap. Anstead played for a long time for the semi-professional football team, the American affiliate of FC Southampton. Last May, she was by his side as they won the championship game.

The pair very privately rarely appear together, but this isn’t the first time Zellweger and her pooches have been seen out and about with Anstead. In 2022, the couple was photographed taking their dogs for a walk in Laguna Beach, California, where he is based.

Recently, the British TV personality and Zellweger spent the holidays together, along with Anstead’s older children: Amelie (19) and Archie (17) from his first marriage. (He also shares a 4-year-old son, Hudson, with his second wife, HGTV star Chistina Hall.)

Although he rarely posts photos with his girlfriend on social media, Anstead shared a picture of the couple’s Christmas ornament with his and Zellweger’s name in an Instagram post in December. He regularly nods to the star to let followers know they’re spending time together without actually showing it off, especially around holidays or big events for his kids.

Anstead and Zellweger started dating in 2021 after Judy star appeared in his Discovery+ series The famous IOU Joyride. The couple celebrated their two-year anniversary last April.

However, Zellweger’s relationship with her dogs is even more enduring. In 2019, she told PEOPLE that her puppies keep her grounded.

“If you’ve ever had a bad day, normalcy is damn good,” she said at the time. “And dogs sure do help. Just little reminders of what’s truly valuable.”
