Renée Zellweger is already welcoming her new co-star Leo Woodall to the world Bridget Jones!
The White lotus star, 27, and the Oscar winner, 55, were spotted this week filming scenes for Bridget Jones: Crazy for a Boy in London.
During their shoot on location in Hampstead Heath, North London, Zellweger’s iconic character found herself in an awkward situation as she apparently climbed a tree, while Woodall’s character – dressed in Hampstead Heath gear – lent her a helping hand, per The Daily Mail.
For her Bridget Jones look in the scene, Zellweger wore a black cardigan and a blue button-down shirt underneath, as her hair appeared to be pulled back into a bun. Costar Chiwetel Ejiofor could also be seen on set talking to Woodall, according to the media release.
“Leo and Renée looked like they were having a good time,” said one onlooker The Daily mail. “There was a lot of giggling, they seemed to get along really well.”

The newly filmed scene comes after Zellweger was first seen in London in late April with boyfriend Ant Anstead while attending her son Archie’s rugby match.
A source previously told PEOPLE that Anstead will temporarily relocate from California to her native London to join Zellweger as she shoots the fourth installment of the film Bridget Jones movie franchise.
“Ant is heading to the UK with Renée as she films later this year. Ant is excited to spend time with his older children,” the source said.
Anstead shares Archie, 17, and Amelie, 20, with his first wife Louise Storey, while he also shares Hudson, four, with ex-wife Christina Hall.

The Bridget Jones The series, adapted from the work of the English author Helen Fielding, will see its next film directed by Michael Morris and with new faces Ejiofor and Woodall.
Hugh Grant and Emma Thompson are expected to return to the series alongside Zellweger, as Grant recently told PEOPLE that the next one will be “very touching, but also funny.”
“It’s partly based on Helen Fielding’s experiences raising two children on her own after her husband died,” he said. “And so Bridget is raising two kids and wondering if she should ever go back to relationships. It’s a very good script.”
Zellweger, who has been showing this fourth film for years, revealed in the 2020 edition of Hollywood. vanity fair that she would “love the experience of revisiting her”, calling the character “so much fun”. In 2002, Zellweger won an Academy Award for Best Actress for her portrayal of Jones in the first film, Bridget Jones’s Diary.
Bridget Jones: Crazy for a Boy is expected to arrive in theaters and on Peacock on February 14, 2025.
