Renu Chopra started visiting the sets after her marriage to Ravi Chopra. BR Chopra encouraged the women on the show to visit the set and become part of the team to understand everything better. Renu Chopra often visited the groomsmen during the shoots and helped the crew in any way possible. She even chose the actor’s outfits while working with Ravi Chopra. Her journey as a producer started in 2014 with Bhoothnath Returns, along with T-series chairman Bhushan Kumar. Since then, Renu has collaborated with her sons and other producers to release films like Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017), Ittefaq (2017), Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019) .

Facts/Trivia
- Ravi and Renu were together for over a year before getting married. Ravi wanted to do his own film before getting married as he didn’t want to be known as “BR Chopra’s son”.

- When the Chopra family encountered a financial crisis, Renu decided to sell the BR film library to make ends meet. The deal was finalized for a few crores of rupees, but the person on the other end didn’t quite pay. Instead, he further sold the library for three times the price of Renu Chopra. Renu Chopra decided to cancel the deal and return the money.
- Renu often visited the sets to have lunch with Ravi. Food is provided by in-house BR Catering, who are famous for cooking Punjabi home-cooked meals.
- On September 27, 2020, Renu Chopra was invited to participate in “The Kapil Sharma Show”.
