Brand vehemently denied any wrongdoing.
As The Times reports, the alleged victims have spoken out with claims that the actor assaulted them between 2006 and 2013.
Now former Celebrity Big Brother contestant Rhian Sugden has broken her silence amid the bombshell claims.
The 37-year-old, who is known for being one of The Sun’s favorite girlfriends, said he pushed for an end to Page 3 following their split.
The actress wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: “Reporters and dispatchers have been knocking on my parents’ door for months asking for information about Russell Brand when we were dating briefly when I was younger.
“He was always very pleasant to me and treated me well.
“Despite trying to sneak past the other Page 3 girls and getting rejected, he soon came full circle and joined the ‘No More Page 3’ campaign to shut us down.
“I can’t comment on the allegations that have been made against him, I don’t have anything on the guy other than his hair smelled before and he definitely wasn’t the one who got away.”
Rhian previously spoke about their brief relationship and said: “He has the image of a lottery pick, but when you see him, that’s not what you think.”
It comes after four women came forward with allegations against Brand in The Times and a Channel 4 documentary.
One alleged victim was just 16 when she claimed Brand, then 31, forced her to perform oral sex during their three-month relationship.
Another woman claims she was the victim of an assault at Brando’s home in 2013 after they met at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.
A third woman, Nadia, claimed Brand raped her against a wall in his LA apartment without a condom.
A fourth woman claimed that Brand sexually assaulted her and physically and emotionally abused her.
The fifth woman previously wrote in the book about the alleged abuse she suffered in February 2007.
She claims he subjected her to emotional and sexual abuse and made her brush her teeth so hard that her gums bled.
It comes after the comedian denied the serious claims before they were published.
In a video posted on his X, formerly known as Twitter, the 48-year-old slammed the allegations as “extremely outrageous and aggressive attacks” before they were released.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, he said: “In the midst of this litany of stunning rather baroque attacks, often very serious allegations, which I absolutely refute.
“These allegations refer to the time when I was working in the mainstream, when I was in newspapers all the time, when I was in movies.

“And as I’ve written about at length in my books, I was very, very promiscuous.
“Now, at that time of promiscuity, the relationships I had were absolutely always consensual.
“I’ve always been transparent about it. Then almost too transparent, and now I’m also transparent about it.”
He emphasized that he “absolutely denies” the accusations that could change his life.
And, despite the devastating claims, Brand did take to the stage tonight for his sold-out event at London’s Wembley Park Theatre.
Brand looked stern when he arrived at the venue, but when he stepped out into the spotlight fans cheered him on.
Russell told the crowd: “I really appreciate your support. I love you.
“I want to make a fantastic show for you. I have a lot of things to talk to you about.
“Obviously there are some things I absolutely cannot talk about – and I appreciate your understanding.”

This is not the usual type of video we do on this channel where we criticize, attack and undermine the news in all its depravity because in this story I am the news.
I received two extremely disturbing letters – a letter and an email.
One from a mainstream media TV company, one from a newspaper, lists a litany of extremely outrageous and aggressive attacks as well as some pretty stupid stuff – like my community festival should be stopped, so I shouldn’t be able to attack mainstream media narratives on this channel .
But amid this litany of stunning, rather baroque, attacks are some very serious allegations that I absolutely refute. These accusations relate to when I was working in the mainstream – when I was in newspapers all the time, when I was in movies, and as I’ve written about extensively in my books, I was very, very promiscuous.
Now, during that time of promiscuity, the relationships I had were absolutely always consensual. I was always transparent about that then, almost too transparent. And now I’m transparent about it.
And when I see how that transparency has metastasized into something criminal that I absolutely deny, it makes me wonder if there is some other agenda at play?
Especially when we’ve seen coordinated media attacks before – like with Joe Rogan when he dared to take a drug that the mainstream media didn’t approve of and we’ve seen a series of headlines from outlets around the world using the same language.
I’m aware that you’ve been saying in the comments for a while now ‘Watch out Russell, they’re coming for you, you’ve come too close to the truth, Russell Brand didn’t kill himself’.
I know a year ago there was a flurry of ‘Russell Brand is a conspiracy theorist, the right wing of Russell Brand’ articles.
I am aware that the media are calling, sending letters to people I have known for years.
It was clear to me, or at least it seemed to me, that there was a serious and concerted plan to control these kinds of spaces and these kinds of voices, and I mean my voice along with your voice.
I don’t mind them using my books and my attitude to talk about my promiscuous consensual behavior in the past. What I seriously deny are these very very serious criminal charges.
It’s also worth mentioning that there are witnesses whose evidence directly contradicts the narratives these two mainstream media are trying to construct, clearly in what appears to me to be a coordinated attack
I don’t want to go into this any further because of the serious nature of the allegations, but I feel like I’m under attack and it’s clear they’re working very closely together
Obviously we’re going to look into this matter because it’s very, very serious. In the meantime, I want you to stay close, stay awake, but more importantly than all of that if you can, please stay free.
