Drew Sidora and her husband, Ralph Pittman, from The Real Housewives of Atlanta announced that they decided to split up after eight years of being married to each other. Bravo fans watched as the young couple dealt with infidelity and untruths during RHOA season 14. Drew was often seen questioning the state of her marriage as she had hoped the couple could salvage their relationship.
The former Rutgers University football player revealed to People that he and The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Drew Sidora came to the hard decision to end their marriage. RHOA season 14 showed Drew’s struggles, especially after Ralph was caught flirting with another woman. Ralph told People that he and Drew had come to the “difficult decision” to move on to their “next chapters” after months of talks. While Ralph still feels love is a beautiful thing, the father of three is ready to be independent and single once again.
RHOA Star Drew & Ralph’s Marriage Had Cracks
RHOA viewers learned that Ralph filed for divorce recently, and court documents listed the couple’s separation as February 19. But Drew filed her petition for divorce just an hour before her soon-to-be ex-husband did. Her court document claimed that their separation actually started on February 23, and there is no hope of reconciliation between the pair. The Game actress married Ralph in 2014 and share two children together, Machai and Aniya. Drew also has a son from a previous relationship.
Bravo cameras caught Ralph texting another woman during RHOA season 14. Even though the athlete claimed that the woman was just his assistant, the messages were damning as they showed Ralph getting emotionally close to the woman, whom he eventually fired. Drew chose to go to Chicago with her children as she processed her husband’s betrayal at the time.
Ralph has been anything but a fan-favorite on RHOA, especially after Kenya Moore called him out for gaslighting Drew. During multiple conversations, which were caught on film, Ralph came across as extremely disrespectful to his wife, with some cast members feeling as if his goal was to tear Drew down. The couple ended RHOA season 14 by going to a marriage counselor, with Drew sharing that she had hope for the future as long as her husband could respect their marriage. Drew has yet to release her own statement regarding the divorce, but it will be interesting to see if Bravo cameras caught all the drama for The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 15.
