In Wednesday’s episode The Real Housewives of Beverly HillsKyle, 55, defended the outfit she packed for an acting trip to Barcelona, ​​Spain, after Dorit Kemsley called her out for her questionable outfit.

“Wait, Kyle. Oh my god, what the hell is this?” Dorit, 47, shouted as the camera panned to a collection of tiny bikinis in her trunk. As she held up a metallic leather dress with rhinestone straps, she yelled, “Kyle, that’s dental floss!”

“Well, I’m sorry I don’t serve ‘1950 widow.’ with all my outfits. I never know what I’m going to be in the mood for so I have all kinds of stuff,” Kyle told the cameras as Dorit commented on the sheer amount of leather she packed.

“Maybe make my clothes look like a whore’s, big deal!” Kyle added.

As the two continued to unpack, Dorit held up a bathing suit that looked semi-tamed until Kyle pointed out that the bottom part had the string cut out.

“Kyle! Who are you? Who is this new person?” she gasped, before adding in a confessional, “I don’t know that Kyle. Yeah, she’s got an amazing body and she wants to show it off, I get it. But what are you thinking when you pack like this?

“Is Kyle looking for her next husband in Spain?” Dorit joked.

Kyle transformed her body with a strict health regimen that included long workouts and major dietary changes such as giving up alcohol. In the previous episode RHOBH, the Bravo mainstay admitted that the change was partly prompted by her marital troubles with husband Mauricio Umansky.

“When you go through painful periods in your life, it changes you as a person,” Kyle said of “training like a beast” in the season 13 premiere. “My sister [Kathy Hilton], feeling let down by friends, feeling disconnected from my husband — you know you have to find an outlet. I feel good about that, I hope Mo does too because I’m here.”

In July 2023, PEOPLE confirmed that the couple had divorced after 27 years of marriage.

Shortly after, the couple released a joint statement on Instagram addressing the news of their split, sharing that they had faced the “most challenging” year of their 27-year marriage. “Regarding the news that came out about us today… All claims of a divorce are false,” the statement read. “However, yes, we have had a difficult year. The most challenging in our marriage. But we both love and respect each other very much.”

“No one was wrong. Although we are in the public eye, we ask that we can solve our problems in private. Although it may be fun to speculate, please do not create fake stories to fit into a further villainous story,” they continued, thanking fans for their love and support.

Last month, Kyle opened up about the ways she’s gotten in tune with “what my body needs.” Her new normal includes lifting weights, hot yoga, running and abstaining from alcohol. Although she feels great about the new changes she has seen, the reality star said Us Weekly that she did not classify her new appearance as a “revenge body”.

“Certainly not intended as a revenge body. It’s meant to be a body that feels good,” she explained, noting that she’s now done with the weight loss after reaching 117 lbs.

“I like the way I feel and the way I look,” Kyle added.
